Hospital Manager – Emergency (ER) – Encinitas, CA
Papaya Veterinary Care is looking for Hospital Manager candidates for our ER hospital in Encinitas, CA.

Our emergency hospital is not far from the gorgeous Encinitas coastline. Our hospital is roughly 3000 square feet, plenty of treatment tables, exam rooms, surgical room, and a break room for staff to put up their feet. Duties and Responsibilities:
In partnership with the Medical Director and/or veterinarians, develop strategic plan and execute interventions to ensure hospital will meet its budgetary and operational goals.
Manage hospital schedule to best align client needs and financial diligence.
Recruit, hire, train and develop hospital support staff.
Foster an environment of responsibility and resilience.
Hold regular staff meetings to keep staff informed, provide relevant training, and allow for team feedback to foster continuous improvement.
Create a positive environment where employees feel empowered and supported.
Ensure team delivers quality and empathetic service to clients and patients.
Manage hospital’s administrative duties including but not limited to: payroll, accounts payable, inventory, and accounts receivable.
Execute local marketing strategy.
Flex working schedule to cross over with all support staff, including working as a technician when patient flow and staffing levels require.
Fill in for support staff shifts when on breaks/lunch and/or during ramp up period.
Other duties as assigned.
Our ideal candidate possesses the following requirements:
Minimum of 1 year management experience with P&L responsibility
Required Veterinary Technician experience. RVT Experience (preferred)
Experience leading a team in the veterinary industry
Ability and desire to work in an ever-changing environment

Salary: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
Schedule: 40-hour week
