Papaya Veterinary Care is seeking an Associate Doctor of Veterinary Medicine for full-time employment for our Carmel Valley (San Diego) location.

Our ideal candidate possesses the following requirements:
Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of California
Ability and willingness to see Urgent Care cases
General dentistry knowledge with the ability to recommend and execute the proper treatment plan
Knowledge of current medical best practices
Strong surgery skills
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills and the ability to develop caring, trusting, lasting relationships with pet parents and team members.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
A desire to participate in the development of the hospital’s client base, operating procedures, staff training, mentorship and technology.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $130,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
Schedule:
10-hour shift
Rotating Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
Production Bonus
Ability to commute/relocate: San Diego, CA: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
